Can you believe it? We have raised all of the minimum goal for the marathon. That is AMAZING! A BIG THANK YOU to all of you that have donated money toward such a great cause that is near and dear to our heart! We COULD NOT have done it without your help!
If you are still thinking about donating please do so! Now that we have met our minimum amount needed to go to the marathon 100% of all the money donated goes toward the mission. (Before only 75% went toward the mission, and the other 25% was for administrative/marathon cost....don't worry all is still tax deductible for you!)
Derek and I are so extremely excited about all of this. We still would like to raise as much money as possible because who knows what research possibilities are out there. The money raised this year might not cure cancer today or tomorrow, but it will help researchers to make a break through in finding a cure for cancer down the road. We never know what the future holds!
So thank you, thank you and more thank yous for all of the donations that we have received! I could not have ever imagined that we could have gotten all the money in before the marathon. (Just a side note...our mentor at TNT thought we had a lofty goal as a couple trying to raise the funds to go to Nike Marathon!) We showed her didn't we.
