We got back from Houston last Thursday. Our trip went well. She got good reports on everything...she said "she was perfect, or said the doctors said so." I told her not to get ahead of herself. The doctor was so impressed how she looked....that he was "showing her off" to someone's family that was about to start the same chemo regime.
Her magnesium and potassium were all good. The only thing that was a little low was her red blood cells...normal is 12 and hers was like 11.1. They gave her a shot to boost it back up. The doctor also told her to eat a little more....so I think my Dad will be pushing the food on her!
She did well, and we gave each other a hard time through out the trip as usual. Sometimes she just makes me laugh out loud at the stuff she says!
Our next trip, she will have her CT Scan and X-rays. This will be September 12th when she gets them. So we will be Houston a little longer for testing, results and chemo. Hope the good news continues.
