what's up everybody?
i had a little set back yesterday. crystal and i were playing in the Fired Up (Johnny Carino's) Annual Softball Tournament and i hurt my ankle in the first game. i was playing short stop and fielded a ball, then made a move to second to tag the base and throw to first. i stepped into the side of the bag and rolled my ankle over pretty bad. it hurt. i was taken to the emergency room for x-rays. luckily it wasn't broken. they put a hard splint on the back of my foot to immobilize the ankle. i have to go back in a week once the swelling goes down (it's about the size of a softball) and see an orthopedic surgeon to check and see if there is ligament damage. hopefully not.
i'll be off my feet for at least a week. crutches suck.
