My Mom and I are leaving for Houston today to go back to MD Anderson for her chemo treatment. This is her second round of treatments. Hopefully her blood work comes back ok tomorrow, and then she will have her infusion on Wednesday and Thursday.
She has done well overall with the last treatment. She has been tired, but I think is feeling better. Now we have to go back, but at least she knows what to expect this time.
So, I will be running/training in Houston…..HOT and HUMID! The first official practice is Saturday and it is 3 miles. So I have to be ready! Good news though my friend, Molly will be running with us. She will be doing the San Antonio Marathon!
