Well, after a week of COLD weather....we have made it home safely. Overall we had a great trip. We only skied once because it was EXTREMELY cold. When the locals look at you funny when you mention you are gonna ski...you kind of rethink it. It was in the negative degree marks when we were gonna go. We are NOT good skiers so it was not a hard choice.
It was a good birthday overall. Sure, some sad thoughts that day, but Derek and I had a great day together. He was a trooper that day "compromising" with no football on Sunday....until the end of the day.
We ate a lot and drank a lot of local beer. We were "beered" out by the end of the trip. Ready to be home and see our animals and sleep in our own bed.
So now it is time for me to start editing the photos and posting the stories of the trip on the other blog!
