Gayle Morgan

Gayle Morgan, 62, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at her home. Gayle was born in Saint Jo and spent most of her life nearby in Denton. Known for her smile and her green thumb Known for her smile and her green thumb, Gayle would always greet you with open arms and hospitality as long as you didn’t step on the flowers. She spent the majority of her working life alongside her husband of 40 years. Gayle was the daughter of the late Doyle Thomas Ice and the mother of the late Cory Joe Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her mother, Gladys Vandell Ice; her husband Tommy Don Morgan; her daughter, Crystal Gayle Dodd and her husband Derek Dodd; her son, Tommy Curt Morgan; 5 sisters: Judy Trietsch, Carole Nance, Maxine Moore, Sue Martin, Betty Hillard and 2 brothers: Donald Ice and Jimmy Ice. Mrs. Morgan is also survived by her 2 grandchildren: Andrew Thomas Hilger and Crawford Austin Morgan.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 23rd, from 6 -8 p.m. at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Nocona, Texas. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at the Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona, TX.
