Our last trip to Houston went well. Some things changed this last trip.
My Mom was taken off the oxiplatin drug. This is one of her chemo drugs, that makes her cold intolerant. It also makes her hands and feet tingle and go numb at times. My Mom's hands and feet have been really numb and tingling. The side effects have not subsided between treatments. They made the decision to take my Mom off of this drug. The Doctor said the numbness and tingling could get worse before it gets better. It would take a while before it would go away. So, the last trip she just had one day of chemo and then we came home.
Her next trip is her CT scan and testing. They will determine if the drugs are still working and whether she will continue on with these chemo drugs (Gemcitabine and Bevacizumab). So we hope that everything is still working and the tumor is shrinking away.

thanks for the update. i was wondering how the last trip went. we continue to pray for her at every church service and the prayers of many righteous people go up on her behalf daily. love, jan
